Randy T. Michael

Randy T. Michael is a Michigan native who has been investing in real estate since 1986. During that time he has personally acquired, remodeled, maintained and managed more than 80 single and multi family buildings and has installed hundreds of tenants. Many of these properties he continues to hold in his personal portfolio. In addition, he manages many other properties for other landlords as well as having conducted numerous real estate brokerage transactions.

Mr. Michael has also owned and managed properties outside of Michigan as well as agricultural, recreational, and forested lands. He has a builder's and real estate license and extensive experience in both wholesale and retail mortgage lending. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors and Michigan Association of Realtors. He is a former board member of the Real Estate Investors Association of Oakland where he also doubled as a speaker and trainer on real estate investing.

Prior to launching a full-time real estate business in 2001, Mr. Michael spent nearly two decades working for two Fortune 1000 corporations, where he rose from sales to sales management to corporate marketing to senior management positions. He spent most of the 1980's and 1990's working, living, and traveling internationally, and he speaks four languages. Mr. Michael holds a B.A. in Marketing and an MBA. He lives in Michigan with his wife and two children.

Hanh D. Brown

Hanh D. Brown has spent her entire professional life in Michigan, a testimony to her knowledge and commitment to the market and the state. Her personal, analytical, communication and leadership skills in a Fortune 100 corporation sparked her entrepreneurship, and since then she has been buying, renovating, leasing, and selling real estate throughout the Detroit metropolitan area.

Along with building her own rental portfolio, Mrs. Brown has spent the last several years studying the market, honing processes, and laying the groundwork for Great Lakes Secured Investments. After perhaps thousands of hours in the field, viewing properties, working with sellers, agents, and tenants, researching the market, and combing neighborhoods, she is clearly one of the most knowledgeable investors in the local marketplace. One of the most positive influences she has had is in working with the ever-changing REO (foreclosure) real estate brokers in Michigan. She has built strong relationships with the brokers who sell the bank and HUD-owned properties in order to create credibility as a buyer. Thus, GLSI usually gets the first crack at newly listed properties that meet its criteria, one of the reasons for its success.

Along with her extensive technical, analytical experience and leadership skills contributed to the corporate world in disciplines of manufacturing, product development, and total vehicle integration, she has strong knowledge in web development, internet marketing, forum marketing, co-branding, strategic partnerships, and public relations. She has leveraged these abilities in both her personal rental property portfolio as well as launching Great Lakes Secured Investments

Michigan’s recent fall from grace, economically speaking, has done nothing but inspire her to further revitalize the single-family housing market into the next decade, bringing families and community together.

Mrs. Brown holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University. She lives in Michigan with her husband and three children.
